Customer service is where most of the CBD companies will fall short. They will create this amazing corporate image and great product descriptions, but their communication sucks. I recently had an experience with a UK company (not mentioning names) where I had to change all my links because they relaunched the website without telling advocates and marketers about it. I ended up sending 5-10 clicks to a link that didn't work. If you are not respected by the company enough, you will never be able to wholeheartedly promote their products.
What CBD Affiliate Help Is Available
If you want to become a CBD affiliate, the easiest way to do so is to find a company that offers a commission is to go to Amazon or eBay. The customer service of these companies is great, and you can always get your issues sorted with them. However, there is a lot of competition for promoting the bestsellers out there. That is why you might be better off joining a company that has a great reputation and their own affiliate management system. As an example, when I joined CTFO, the system signed me up under some stranger with the same name as my sponsor. Guess what; it only took two emails to sort this issue out.
Customer Reviews of the Hemp Products
Of course, you will also need to take all the claims related to CBD products with a pinch of salt. Obviously, the company will want you to promote their products, and will sing hymns about them, but what do customers say? If the company doesn't feature testimonials, especially video testimonials or those with full names, you will have to do your own research. Maybe contact people who have tried the products, or try them yourself. There's no harm in knowing what you talk about in your review posts.
Affiliate and Advocate Reviews of the CBD Company
Apart from customer reviews, you can also look for advocates or affiliate reviews. Glassdoor is a good place to start. Make sure that you contact existing affiliates, not only your sponsor who introduced you to the business opportunity. Remember that they will get be paid when you join and make sales, so it is in their best interest to show you the best side of the CBD company.
The Range of CBD Products
Unless you focus on one product and nail all the keywords, you will not make a living promoting CBD products. You might try your hands at CBD beauty products and pet products, provided that the company has the right range. You don't want to start building links to a hemp product that will disappear next month due to a legislation issue, either.
